Terms of service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms apply to every order placed on woofwears.store. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order, you agree to them. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are
These terms are between you and WoofWears, an online shop run by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us by email at support@woofwears.store or through our contact page (woofwears.store/pages/contact). We aim to reply within 1–2 working days.

2. Who can order
Our products are sold to consumers for domestic and private use. We deliver to the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States only.

3. What we sell
We sell dog drying robes, dog accessories such as paw cleaners, lick mats and travel bottles, and digital guides. Some digital guides are free, such as the Muddy Season Kit.

4. Your order
When you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. Our contract with you starts when we dispatch your order and email you to say so. For digital guides, it starts when we email you the download. We may decline or cancel an order before then, for example if an item is unavailable, a price is wrong or we suspect fraud. If we do, we’ll tell you and refund anything you’ve paid in full.

5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling, or in US or Canadian dollars if you’re shopping from those countries. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.

If we find an obvious error in a price after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you. You can then either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

6. Offers and discounts
Bundle savings are applied automatically at checkout. Discount codes must be entered at checkout before you pay. They can’t be added to an order that’s already been placed, combined unless we say so, or exchanged for cash. We may change or end offers at any time, but this won’t affect orders already placed.

7. Digital guides
Our digital guides are PDF files sent to you by email. They’re general information for your personal use. They aren’t veterinary advice, so always follow your vet’s advice about your dog’s health, diet and exercise. The content belongs to WoofWears and may not be copied, shared or resold.

8. Delivery
Delivery costs, timings and what to do if a parcel is late are set out in our shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Your order becomes your responsibility once it has been delivered to the address you gave us.

9. Cancelling and returns
If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, email us as soon as you can and we can usually cancel it. After delivery, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days, starting the day after you receive your order. Change-of-mind return postage is paid by you. Paw cleaners and lick mats must be unused and in their original packaging for a full change-of-mind refund. How to cancel, and how refunds work, is set out in our refund policy.

10. Faulty items
We have a legal duty to supply products that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If something isn’t, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, as explained in our refund policy, and we’ll cover the cost of returning a faulty item. These rights don’t cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, chewing, accidents, or washing and drying that doesn’t follow the care instructions.

11. Product information and sizing
We try to show our products accurately, but colours can look slightly different on different screens. Our size guides, size finder and measurements are a guide only, and actual measurements may vary slightly. Please check your dog’s measurements against the size guide before you order. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

12. Using our products safely

  • Drying robes: choose the right size using our size guide. The robe should sit comfortably and never be tight around the neck. Always stay with your dog while they’re wearing it, and never leave them unattended in it. The robe isn’t a toy, harness, restraint, life jacket or protective coat, so don’t use it to lead, lift or restrain your dog. Take it off if your dog seems distressed, too warm or uncomfortable.
  • Paw cleaners: use with a little warm (never hot) water and be gentle with sore or injured paws. Rinse the cleaner and let it dry after use.
  • Lick mats: always supervise your dog while they use the lick mat. Only use dog-safe foods, and wash the mat after each use.
  • Don’t let your dog chew any of our products, straps or fastenings. Check them regularly, and stop using any product that becomes damaged.

13. Our website
The text, photos and designs on woofwears.store belong to WoofWears or are used with permission. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our written permission.

14. Reviews
If you leave a review, please keep it honest, relevant and polite. We may remove reviews that contain offensive language, personal information, links or content unrelated to the product. We don’t remove reviews just because they’re negative.

15. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We aren’t responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable, for loss caused by using a product in a way that goes against our instructions or safety guidance, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

16. Events outside our control
We aren’t responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as carrier problems, strikes, customs checks or severe weather. If this happens, we’ll let you know. If the delay is significant, you can cancel your order for a full refund.

17. Problems, complaints and payment disputes
If you’re unhappy with anything, please contact us first. We’ll do our best to put it right. If we can’t resolve your complaint, we’ll tell you in writing and give you details of an alternative dispute resolution provider, along with whether we’ll agree to use it. You can also get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice.

If you raise a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider, we’ll share your order, delivery and correspondence details with them so the dispute can be resolved.

18. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.

20. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live. If you live outside the UK, you may also have rights under the consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
